For two consecutive years, Girl Up Nigeria with support from Bays Planet Foundation has hosted a mentorship program to commemorate International Women’s Day. At Girl Up Nigeria, International Women’s Day is an opportunity to show women that we support them and believe in their dreams.

We believe that mentoring is important to create connections with people that can offer insight, and advice and help to navigate the next stages of their careers.

In this year’s mentorship program, we picked 16 women. The mentorship is focused on exploring the impact of the digital gender gap on widening economic and social inequalities and the importance of protecting the rights of women and girls in digital spaces and addressing online and ICT-facilitated gender-based violence.

We are excited to announce that the 3rd cohort of our mentorship program starts on 11th February 2023. We have 8 amazing women who have accepted to support our vision by mentoring the selected participants. We can’t wait to see all that we achieve this year through our amazing mentors.
