We from Bays Planet Foundation join the world in breaking the bias and stereotypes against women. The bias women experience is a global challenge, and we are proud to join our voice with the worldwide community.
As a women-led initiative, we are concerned about making an instrumental change in the world. We want to change the narrative through which women are perceived. We believe in the might, strength, and power of every woman, and we wish the world sees this too.
This year, we will be thrilled to see more capable women in tech, engineering, politics, and other fields packed by men. We will be delighted to see more women campaigning for change and doing incredible things to grow their communities.
As part of our commitment to young women, we are in a partnership with GirlUp Nigeria for a three weeks mentorship session. Through out the two weeks, the twelve selected young women are paired with:

Charles Falajiki of Aid for Rural Educationa Access Initiative (AREAi)
Dr Cassandra Akinde of The Neo Child Initiative
Chioma Agwuegbo of TechHerNG
Karimot Odebode of Black Girl’s Dream Initiative, and
Taibat Hussain, a senior tech advisor and educationalist.
They have all devoted two weeks of their tight schedules to young women and we hope they will make the best out of the opportunity.
